Gasthaus Tuptzer Hafen in Teupitz

We waited 20 minutes before we got the card ourselves, even though we had ordered it. We ordered two beers, a non-alcoholic Hefeweizen and a large Berliner. We got a Hefeweizen with alcohol and a small beer. Incredible. Then I wanted pork knuckle if I didn't have it anymore. Then we ordered onion meat and currywurst fries with mayo, and we got ketchup. We only got cutlery to eat when requested. So a disaster !!!! In the meantime two occupied tables got up and left. The staff, as unfortunately more and more widespread in Germany, not specialized. The waiter couldn't memorize anything, that's why paper and pencil were invented. So, they get one point because they surprised us with a scoop of ice cream and cream at the very end, as an excuse for the poor staff, so all in all a nice view, but that's about it.

Everything but also everything OK; wonderful staff. Food, tasty and the plate is full, very good prices.

The Tuptzer Hafen is a garden restaurant that is very easy to miss. More than a small sign on the house does not indicate the restaurant in the garden. The food was excellent and the view of the lake and the small harbor offer a great panorama. Recommendable! Anyone in Teupitz should definitely take a break here. Local cuisine. Inexpensive offers and a great panorama are worth a visit.

Very rude and impolite staff. Shouting at the guests directly is apparently common here.

I cannot share the sometimes bad reports. I went there on Sunday and ate the best fried trout I've ever had in Brandenburg. Portion was above average for the price, service friendly and I didn't have to wait a long time for anything.

Now we would like to write something here. After so many bad reviews🙀 we were absolutely satisfied with the service and the food ,,, I had the catfish, the men the onion meat. The catfish was very well seasoned, finally I didn't have to spice it up, everything else tastes bland, because you have to be considerate of everyone who doesn't eat it and otherwise has colesterine .... We were extremely satisfied and will be back. The service was great and you should understand and like the jokes and the manner here in the Berlin area when you are visiting. Otherwise stay at home. We thought it was great, 👍👍👍👍

The place has potential, especially the outside area. More engagement would enhance the location. But the kitchen speaks volumes about the ambitions. A few steps to the shore a boat rental company. In the absence of alternatives, the day trippers have to stop here ... it's not worth it. Hunger is satisfied cheaply. When you get used to the sight ...

The drinks came quickly. We were served nicely. But the food was spicy, fried too fat and with me still with a fly. They responded and brought me a new meal with even fewer fried potatoes. In terms of price, it was okay.

Location is not everything, the service is a bit brittle but tries to keep the drinks turnover. The price-performance ratio is slanted and not so nice for the paying guest. The dishes are "okay" in taste. The portions are inappropriately small, even for pensioners ... All in all, the location is the decisive selection criterion, even if there are no alternatives within walking distance. Too bad we would like to have given more stars.

We have been to this great place every now and then for a few years. But this time I am very disappointed with a service person, or was it also the boss. No matter, it was very confusing at the entrance there was a sign saying, restaurant on the right and port on the left. That means walking in these directions. We have read that and are right to the restaurant. We were addressed very maliciously, restaurant or port? Restaurant was confirmed by us. Then I heard the said woman say that who can read has an advantage. Only when we left did we see a second table behind a post or table with the inscription, take the menu yourself. Why do you have to hide the boards? Locals may know that, but we as vacationers don't. Why in God's name you can't show it all on a blackboard. But anyway, we will come back anyway, hoping to be greeted better then or decently. Otherwise the staff is always very nice and friendly. Perhaps the lady in question is thinking about how to deal with customers.

There was still water only from the tap. Waitress who was probably not there long was blubbered in front of our table. Inserts cannot be changed. The food is too greasy. No quality. Fried potatoes mushy. Waitress was very neglected and smelled unpleasant. The only good thing was the 2 strangers at the table. Too bad. But unfortunately nothing was okay with the visit ..

Very bad service, were snorted in front of everyone, would have preferred to leave immediately, should hurry us when ordering. We looked inside and heard that the whole time the staff spoke about the guests, under all cannons, would never go there again. Too bad for my time!

Goes so. Good location alone is not enough anymore. Staff is very casual, which is not always appropriate.

Small fine guesthouse with a beautiful view of the lake. The food is simple but tasty. Music was not in the outdoor area and so you could enjoy the nature. The service was friendly and the food came quickly. The inn is worth a visit.

Tasty local food very affordable

We went here for lunch and had a bad experience. The food was terrible. The fish was off, the salad was old and wilted and when we complained about the meal we were just told that other diners hadn't complained. Even though we returned the meals we were charged fully for them. The first meal I have ever returned in a restaurant. Avoid this place and especially avoid the food.
